Terms of use
In short: Keepsign is licensed to you under Apple’s standard licence for App Store apps. Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple. Keepsign helps you keep documents and signatures intact and tells you what it checked, but you remain responsible for your documents and for whether a signature is accepted where you use it.
1. The licence
Keepsign PDF and Keepsign PDF for Teams are licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA applies.
2. Keepsign Pro
- Keepsign Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and doesn’t renew.
- It unlocks Pro tools on every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in with the Apple Account that bought it, and through Family Sharing for members of your family group.
- Pro includes future versions of Keepsign PDF.
- Before buying, you can complete three Pro jobs for free on each device. Results you made with them are yours to keep.
- Payment, Family Sharing, Ask to Buy and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. If Apple refunds a purchase, the Pro tools lock again; your documents are not affected.
- Keepsign PDF for Teams is a separate paid app with Pro included, sold through the App Store and Apple’s volume purchasing.
3. What Keepsign does and doesn’t promise
- Keepsign saves changes in a way meant to keep existing signatures and content intact, checks each save and reports the result in a receipt. When a change would invalidate a signature or remove content, it tells you before saving.
- The receipt, the signature verifier and “What changed?” report what Keepsign found in the file. They are not a certificate of authenticity, a legal opinion or proof that a document is genuine.
- Whether an electronic or digital signature is legally valid or accepted depends on the law where you are, the type of document and the people or institutions receiving it. Keepsign doesn’t guarantee legal validity or acceptance.
- AI tools can be wrong. Keepsign shows the passage each answer comes from so you can check it. Answers are not legal, financial or medical advice.
- Redaction removes what you select from the saved copy and checks it. Erase marks and annotations are not redaction. Review a document before sending sensitive information.
- Keep copies of important documents. Software can fail, and so can devices.
4. Your documents and your use
Your documents are yours. Keepsign doesn’t receive them. You’re responsible for having the right to edit, sign, convert or share the documents you use with Keepsign, and for using it lawfully. Don’t use Keepsign to forge signatures, alter documents to deceive anyone, or remove marks or notices that you aren’t entitled to remove.
5. Digital IDs
Certificates are issued by third parties under their own terms. Keepsign doesn’t issue certificates and isn’t responsible for their validity, revocation or acceptance.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Keepsign is provided “as is”, and the limitations of liability in the Standard EULA apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when Keepsign changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: support@keepsignpdf.com. Privacy is covered on the privacy page.
