“How do I cancel before it renews?” Keepsign finds the clause, answers in a sentence, and gives you a button to the exact paragraph with the words highlighted. Then it checks the quote is really there.
Pro Included in Keepsign Pro, US$29.99 once. Needs a device with Apple Intelligence for the AI model; the rule-based tools work on every device.
The answer comes from this document and shows where it says so. Nothing leaves this device.
How do I cancel so it doesn’t renew?
p. 3 · ¶ 2
“…either party may terminate by written notice no later than thirty (30) days before the renewal date.”
On this device · Apple Intelligence
The AI suggests. You confirm. Keepsign checks.
Every answer comes with the paragraph number and a sentence copied from the document. Keepsign looks for that sentence in that paragraph. If it isn’t there, the answer is dropped, and you see “I can’t find that in the document” with the closest passages instead.
Questions with citations
Each citation is a button: tap “p. 3 · ¶ 2” and the page opens with the sentence highlighted.
A summary you can verify
Key points, each with its quote. Translate it or have it read aloud.
Deadlines, worked out
Renewals, payments, notice periods. “12 months from March 1, 2027” plus “30 days’ notice” becomes “Give notice before Jan 31, 2028”, with the calculation shown. Add it to Calendar or Reminders.
Invoice to spreadsheet
Supplier, tax ID, number, date, lines, tax and total, with the sums checked. If they don’t add up, it says so.
What changed between versions
“The deadline goes from 30 days to 14 days”, “the amount rises 25%”, clause by clause, each with its quote.
What you’re about to share
ID numbers, emails, phone numbers, card numbers, names, addresses, the author, hidden versions, even GPS in photos inside the PDF.
Explain simply
For official letters: who wrote, what it says, what you have to do and by when.

On your device, and off until you tap.
Keepsign uses Apple’s on-device model. Your documents aren’t sent to a server, ours or anyone’s. Nothing runs on its own: each tool starts when you tap it, and each can be turned off in Settings.
Apple’s system Writing Tools can hand text to Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, and apps can’t prevent that. So in Keepsign’s document windows they start switched off, and Keepsign offers its own on-device Writing help instead. You can turn Apple’s back on, with that explained.
Without Apple Intelligence (older devices, or turned off), the tools based on rules keep working and say so: “On this device · rules (no model)”.
What it won’t do
It won’t give legal or financial advice, and it won’t change your document by itself. An answer with no quote that Keepsign can find is not shown. A small on-device model reads a long document in pieces, so for very long files, ask about one part at a time.
Questions
Which devices can use the AI?
iPhone, iPad and Mac models that support Apple Intelligence, with iOS 26, iPadOS 26 or macOS 26 or later and Apple Intelligence turned on. On other devices, the rule-based parts still work.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once Apple’s model is on your device, the AI works without a connection.
Can my organization turn it off?
Yes. With an MDM you can turn off the model, Writing Tools, or single tools like Ask or Invoices. See Keepsign for Teams.
